Kristen moved to Austin in July 2007 to join the Austin Film Festival team as Marketing Director and Hospitality Coordinator. She currently is the Director of Marketing and AFF's Young Filmmakers Program for students age 9-17. With a degree in Telecommunication from Michigan State University, previous endeavors have included working on-air for WDBM 89FM, the Late Show with David Letterman, on-set for feature films and shorts and being Program Director of the 10th East Lansing Film Festival. The 15th Austin Film Festival marks her 3rd film festival in less than 2 years! Besides AFF, she enjoys painting, live music and exploring the amazing city that is Austin.
