Linnea Toney Bio

Linnea Toney is the Conference Director at the Austin Film Festival. She oversees programming and coordination of the Festival’s Conference. She has been with the festival since 2004, working as the Production Manager, Summer Camp Coordinator and assistant to the Executive Director. Previously, she worked as assistant to photographer and screenwriter, Bill Wittliff. Before to moving to Austin , she worked on IFC’s Henry’s Film Corner. She attended Emerson College in Boston where she studied film. Her thesis film, the short documentary Unicorn Pride, played several festivals around the country and has distribution through Bside Entertainment. She is currently working on a feature documentary titled What Sounds Fast: Mariachi. Bookmark this page:
