Matt Dy Bio

Matt first caught the screenwriting bug as a film student at the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film. He has written a stage play and several short and feature screenplays and understands the plight of the neurotic writer. He is happy to be working for a festival that supports other neurotic writers like him. Prior to Screenplay Competition Director, he has worked as the Office Manager for two years, participated in the Festival’s internship program, and was also a reader for the screenplay competition.
