ACVB Opening Night Reception
Year after year, the Thursday evening ACVB Opening Night Reception, presented in part by the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, kicks off the annual festival to welcome registrants to the "#1 city to live, work and make movies"! Besides the blossoming music and art scene, Austin is proud to be a hub for industry screenwriters, filmmakers and film lovers to meet, mingle and get projects made.
After you connect with friends from around the country and finalize your festival gameplan, the reception winds down in time for you to make your way to the Opening Night Film at the historic Paramount Theater in downtown Austin.
