The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all those artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.

The Austin Film Festival is a not for profit 501c3 corporation.

Ashley Brucks

Ashley Brucks recently joined Paramount as a Vice President of Production and is currently overseeing the film A THOUSAND WORDS starring Eddie Murphy.

Before Paramount she worked at Creative Artists Agency and then DreamWorks, where she started out as an assistant and rose up the ranks to Production Executive.Ā  During her DreamWorks tenure she worked on such hits as DISTURBIA and NORBIT and was responsible for finding and acquiring the thriller PARANORMAL ACTIVITY.

Ashley is a graduate of the University of Texas and started her entertainment career working on independent productions in Houston and Austin, and interning for MTV in New York and Davis Entertainment in Los Angeles.
