The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all those artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.
The Austin Film Festival is a not for profit 501c3 corporation.
Film Texas BBQ Supper
Presented by the Texas Association of Film Commissions - the Austin Film Festival's Film Texas BBQ Supper is one of the most anticipated events of the fest!
Every Friday evening from 4:30-6:30, awardees, filmmakers, writers, and festival attendees put down their program books and pick up a plate to fill up on what Austin does best - BBQ. Amidst the company of hundreds of fellow guests, this party is a must-attend to be among some of the industry's finest. You never know who you might run into - so make sure to stock up on business cards...and napkins!
