The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all those artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.
The Austin Film Festival is a not for profit 501c3 corporation.
Carlo Eugster
Carlo Eugster started his career as an intern at Out of the Blue Entertainment (‘Akeelah and the Bee’, ‘Mr. Deeds’, ‘Big Daddy’), a production company based at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
After graduating from UCLA, he joined the company full-time as the assistant to Sid Ganis and worked on the production of ‘Akeelah’ and two Academy Awards telecasts.
He is currently the company’s Director of Development overseeing feature projects including ‘I Dream of Jeannie’, ‘American Neurotic’ and ‘The Governess’, ‘The Three Laurens’, as well as several television projects.
