JOHN AUGUST’s screenwriting credits include Go, Big Fish, Titan A.E., Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, and both Charlie’s Angels movies. He made his directing debut with 2007's The Nines. August earned a degree in journalism from Drake University and an MFA in film from the Peter Stark program at USC. He runs a screenwriting-oriented Web site at johnaugust.com.
