The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all those artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.

The Austin Film Festival is a not for profit 501c3 corporation.

Maggie Malone

Maggie Malone is Director of Creative Development at Disney Animation Studios, where she has worked on such films as The Princess and the Frog and Bolt.  As Director of Development for Gary Ross’s company at Universal, Maggie worked on The Tale of Despereaux and conducted script research for Seabiscuit.  A graduate of Yale, Maggie has a background in television production and development, and has worked as a reader for William Morris, Showtime and ABC.  She began her career in literary development in off-Broadway theater.
