The Austin Film Festival is one of the most important resources in the United States for screenwriters and filmmakers as well as an important part of Austin's growing filmmaking community. The support of our members allows us to bring more independent films to Austin, promote film production in Texas, celebrate screenwriters' contributions to the film industry and introduce filmmaking and screenwriting to the young people in our community.
The Young Filmmakers Program, which includes our Young Filmmakers Exhibition and  Film Competition is made possible by your support. This popular program is open to young people, ages 9-16, and offers them rare exposure to screenwriting, filmmaking, and television production as well as one-on-one interaction with industry professionals.
Advance screenings, film premieres, script readings and other special events occur throughout the year as part of our membership program. As the AFF continues to grow, we host more advance screenings, special events and provide better discounts for our members.
The Austin Film Festival is a 501-3 organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
