The Austin Film Festival is one of the most important resources in North America for screenwriters and filmmakers as well as an important part of Austin's growing filmmaking community. Throughout the year, the support of our members brings over 200 film and events to Austin. Special events celebrate screenwriters’ contributions to the film industry and introduce filmmaking and screenwriting to the next generation of young stars. AFF has also made great strides promoting film production in Texas. Your support helps us to further the art and craft of filmmaking in our state.
Since 1994, the Austin Film Festival, a non-profit organization, has prided itself on a continued commitment to the arts and educational community. Whether it’s through nationally recognized programs such as the Young Filmmaker Program’s Storytelling Through Film initiative, the Writers Ranch or its partnerships with family friendly organizations like the Austin Children’s Hospital, the AFF provides unique cultural events and services.
In addition to its wonderful list of programs, the Austin Film Festival is dedicated to rewarding the contributions of its members.
