Action! Make a Movie, Make a Difference PSA Competition

The Austin Film Festival‚ Young Filmmakers Program and Travis County Sheriff's Office are partnering together this year to challenge Travis County students to create PSAs to educate and raise awareness of a problem that a growing number of teens are facing – dating violence and substance abuse.

As a part of the Sheriff's Office's larger program to raise awareness of the issues, students are encouraged to create and submit 30 second PSAs for entry in the competition. The winning films will be played on local TV, and screened at the 5th Annual Austin Student Filmmaking Expo, Saturday, April 25.
